Marquee letters are a great way to put your monogram out there in a less preppy way. The for-real iron ones cost hundreds of dollars, which is certainly not in my budget. For cheap, you can create and paint your own cardboard ones that will light up at your whim. For a white-washed smaller effort, you can follow Grey Like Nesting’s tutorial. Some of the things you need are clear bulbs you can get from Target and cardboard letters you can get from Amazon.
If you want to get fancier with the project, you can try out Stephanie Lynn’s take on marquee letters. Either way – get your name in lights!
